Las Vegas Plastic Surgeons Offer Non-Surgical Facelift Alternative

Drs. W. Tracy Hankins and Samuel M. Sohn use Thermage® to noninvasively stimulate natural collagen production and help patients achieve smoother, younger looking skin.

Las Vegas, NV – With a focus on natural looking results, Las Vegas plastic surgeons W. Tracy Hankins, MD and Samuel M. Sohn, MD keep their private practice up to date with the latest technology and techniques the field of plastic surgery has to offer. In addition to a comprehensive variety of surgical rejuvenation options, Drs. Hankins and Sohn also offer a number of non-surgical treatments for patients whose needs do not necessitate surgery. One of these non-surgical offerings is Thermage® – an FDA-approved skin tightening treatment designed to stimulate collagen production for more youthful-looking skin.

In a recent pair of blog posts, the Las Vegas plastic surgeons outline the benefits of Thermage®, which can be used to address cosmetic concerns including:

In a post titled, Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation with Thermage®, Drs. Hankins and Sohn note that patients often receive the innovative treatment to “achieve eyelid tightening and under-eye smoothing, facial tightening and contouring, or cellulite and skin texture improvement.” Additionally, during the Thermage® procedure, Comfort Pulse Technology™ can reduce discomfort levels and significantly improve the patient’s treatment experience.

A follow-up blog post – titled, Facial Rejuvenation: Facelift or Thermage®? – weighs the advantages and disadvantages of surgical versus nonsurgical treatment methods. Drs. Hankins and Sohn highlight that although Thermage® cannot deliver the exact same results as a traditional facelift, “for individuals whose aesthetic concerns do not necessarily require surgery to correct, Thermage® can provide significant improvement without the downtime and discomfort of a surgical operation.”

In order to help their patients at Hankins & Sohn Plastic Surgery Associates make well-informed decisions regarding their treatment approach, the surgeons use the consultation period as an opportunity for patient education, noting that patient satisfaction often increases when clear and realistic expectations are established going into treatment. Regardless of which facial rejuvenation method the patient selects, Drs. Hankins and Sohn pride themselves on effective results and giving their patients smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
